PELIKAN DESIGN partnered by Niels Gammelgaard (1944) and Lars Mathiesen (1950). They are both architects specializing in industrial design. They favour functional and unpretentious idioms that are minimalist, yet expressive. Characteristic of Gammelgaard and Mathiesen is that they work very broadly in many different areas without losing sight of the issue. For Fritz Hansen they have designed the Cafe and Decision series. Most recent additions are the Labyrint and Wing screen wall series.
